Hoodoo has been an amazing place to work. Flexible leadership Time off encouraged Creative benefits Totally remote and creative team building to encourage relationships Great, and I mean GREAT people However, they were recently acquired and the acquisition has been pretty awful (though no one has been fired).

Employees have been disregarded during the acquisition and it's been so discouraging Sometimes the team can be stretched too thin or have too much time, but that's the ebb and flow of agency life.

Family-like atmosphere, no dumb questions Training at any time or growing your skillset is not only encouraged but paid for Lovely office, option to work 100% remote Understanding of software development at every level of the company, no unicorn requests Gaming nights, work parties, gifts/swag commonly given out Very relaxed PTO system, trust-based Skilled team members, some of the smartest in the industry, but still very kind people Run like a startup on the front facing side, run like a stable long-term business on the back facing side. Best of both worlds Accepting and protective management, forward-thinking leaders Consistent feeling of everyone being in it together, nobody's left behind Movement wherever you want, back end, front end, devops, etc

Slightly lower than average pay (barely a con, I personally think its offset by the quality of the workplace) Benefits are a bit lackluster, but they are honest about it Communication hiccups can happen sometimes due to the hybrid remote system
