Pros

Small, quickly growing company driven by knowledgeable leadership who sincerely care about their employees. Once aboard, you quickly feel like part of the team and are encouraged to contribute your ideas, do good work & go home to your family. Easily the least micro managed culture I've ever experienced. If you are hired through the interview process and do your job, you are treated with trust, respect & encouragement. Even though the work can (at times) feel slow, the company can be a fun & energetic place if you let it. Management provides snacks & coffee in the kitchen, have been known to have a holiday dinner with the employees as well as sometimes treat them to lunch on special occasions. THey participate and encourage a healthy eating/living environment overall. My last October there we even did a team building exercise by doing the Tennessee Warrior Dash together. Overall, a fantastic employment experience that I would recommend to capable candidates..

Cons

If you need your work carefully defined for you, don't like to wear more than one hat, don't like working for a small company or aren't a fan of selling home decor to people who may not always be the nicest or the most computer savvy, then this is might not be the place for you. If you do enjoy that kind of culture, you will have a blast here and discover that there is a lot of room to grow with this company.

Pros

I worked as the Operations Manager for 1.5 years at Hopemaru Enterprises, and my time there was great. I oversaw all day-to-day activities, whether they were tracking online sales, scheduling purchasing orders, or directly working with customers to find products that fit their needs. As a family-owned business, they welcome new employees and make them feel at home. This makes an employee feel comfortable, and therefore increases one's productivity. The Managers are very open to ideas, and are always thinking ahead.

Cons

Its a small company, therefore it can be busy and everyone wears a lot of hats. However, busy is a good problem to have
