Pros
Unlimited PTO Nice office space Medium sized - ability to get to know people Regular check ins Wellness retreat room, game rooms and 2 desk-bikes
Cons
- Lots of turnover (2 layoff rounds in less than 6 months) - Not much diversity or community since room booking system is unreliable - Fired the person under me just a couple weeks after my start date? It felt like I was set up for failure since clearly it had been a topic before I even joined…especially since this was in the middle of peak holiday Q4. - On my first day, I was told that my direct manager would be replaced in 2 months for leave - Backfills kept getting postponed and postponed again for months - Too lenient with SLAs and not very respectful to employees who voice concern - Disconnected leadership on processes and bottom line strategy details - Many other teams seemed understaffed and overwhelmed - Their “pod structure” seems to be more of a term for employees jumping in to execute campaigns that aren’t for their assigned client. It seemed like way to make up for understaffing. There would often be employees begging in chat for help on builds. - Leadership doesn’t always know how to deliver feedback and can also contradict themselves or even set double standards
