      System is small and not a big player in healthcare. Sisters are aging and not a great succession plan.

      Hello! Thank you for taking time to leave us a review. As a system, we have more than 14,000 employees, with more than 1,100 as part of the HSHS Medical Group. We are proud of the heritage of the Sisters that began our ministry and carry on their torch today as lay people. You are correct that they are aging, and there are only a few still working in our system today. But, they have entrusted us with a great legacy to carry on their work to reveal and embody Christ's healing love for all people.

      Pros

      Had good benefits and was wonderful to work in the year 2020-2025. Co-workers were friendly around 2023 and got along great with all of the coworkers.

      Cons

      There are numerous ones that I do not like about the company. Most of the people I worked with were not friendly, micromanaged and the company sold us out to Ensemble Health Partners which is even worse than HSHS on micromanging. I am pretty upset about them not letting us know at least a year ahead or 6 months that we were moving to Ensemble Health Partners. Everyone who was up for retirement stopped working for HSHS because of us moving to Ensemble Health Partners.
