Pros

Comparable salary and decent benefits

Cons

Extreme difficulty with obtaining accommodations due to disability, need more diversity in the workplace, any complaints are not handled properly including worker’s compensation claims or discrimination. Very few employees of color and very few in leadership or management positions. Lack an office or point person dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Pros

Best work environment I've seen in healthcare. Everyone is friendly and works together. They also have a fantastic residency program for new grads.

Cons

As every place, they expect too much from staff and you may not feel supported by management. However I will say that my opinion is colored by me working night shift.

Pros

Clinical staff were great, lots of skills to be gained, building is clean and spacious, in and outdoor seating for lunch, cheap insurance compared to other local healthcare organizations

Cons

30 minute lunch, only one microwave and two lunch shifts for entire office, have to use your PTO when they are closed for holidays and in my opinion you do not get much time the first 5 years, the office manager at that time (no longer there) was difficult to be around, same responsibilities and workload as LPN and RN with much less pay of course
