I have been in the industry for almost a decade and can say that Houdini Interactive is easily the best firm I've had the pleasure of working at.
The structure of the business helps foster a work environment that allows for employees to display their knowledge and expertise while maintaining the space for constructive feedback and direction. Leadership is conscious of deadlines, and have a great feel for work-life balance – to which they encourage employees to adhere to. Employees are heard and acknowledged for their contributions and ideas on a regular basis – a refreshing change working in this industry.
The culture is fun, light-hearted, and doesn't take itself too serious all while balancing the sheer amount of commitment, dedication, and attention to detail that each project demands.
It's clear that the leadership team have been in the industry long enough to understand how to run a successful firm. They allow the space for personal growth / development and do a fine job of mitigating the drawbacks that come with being a creative such as incessant art direction, unreasonable expectations / deadlines, and lack of respect for the demand of the job.

Nothing of note. Benefits package is what you would expect from a small business however as time progresses leadership continues to lay the groundwork for better opportunities and benefits. A positive trend!
