Pros
As a small county government you are able to see and feel that small town that most people in the larger metropolitan cities dream about. The people are caring and friendly.
Cons
Because it is a small town and the tax revenue base is low you are not afforded many of the employment amenities that larger corporate or larger government agencies can provide such as training. The salary is also going to be less than the equivalent job in larger cities/companies.
