Pros
The children that you serve are difficult at times, but they are awesome, funny, and sweet. If you are lucky, you will be placed at a school with a principal and staff that are really trying to get things done.
Cons
Houston ISD is large and disorganized. They have a new initiative each year, but they don't stick with anything. Many of the leaders are lost or they don't have the stick-to-itness required to make a real change. All the leaders aren't bad though, latch to the ones who aren't and pray for the others.
