Pros

1) Nice co-workers. 2) Supportive staff. 3) Communication from some upper management

Cons

1) Salary was poor when compared with local competition and the insane, but sometimes unstated, expectations. 2) The expected workload was excessive. All of this talk about work-life balance is just talk. 3) Communication with the regional administration was very, very poor. They are very aloof and utilize hearsay and CCTV footage to form opinions. 4) The overall attitude of local management at the regional and clinic level was overly punitive. It left me with the impression that the place was run by control freaks who enjoy making people hurt.

Pros

Great organization to grow professionally in healthcare operations. Strong focus on patient care, quality, innovation, and leadership development. I’ve gained valuable experience in physician support, operations, workflow improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while working with talented teams and leaders.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations and increasing responsibilities. At times, leadership roles can feel under-titled compared to the level of operational work being performed. Work-life balance can also be challenging during staffing shortages, major initiatives, or clinic transitions.
