Pros

I started off at Houston TechSys as an intern and was eventually hired on full time. The owner was flexible with me as I was still in school and the team was very helpful in teaching me how to handle things I didn't know about. I learned a ton in this job, and everyone was very friendly. They also offer benefits, including health insurance, tolls paid for, gas to on-site visits reimbursed, and performance-based bonuses. All in all I enjoyed my time here and I would recommend it, especially to those that are new to IT.

Cons

The pay is below market average, but they do performance reviews every so often with potential for raises

Autonomy, exposure to many different technologies, flexible owner, certification reimbursement

Cons

Pay is below market average and was often late, benefits are lacking, tolls are not reimbursed despite driving to clients, 24/7 on-call work schedule, no room for growth.
