Pros

There are absolutely no pros to working here — not one. If you’re considering applying, let this be your warning: don’t. Don’t work for them, and certainly don’t work with them. The work environment is alarmingly toxic, and it all starts at the top. The owner is woefully out of depth — no grasp of marketing, no leadership qualities, and certainly no interest in learning. Imagine taking orders from someone who confuses ego with expertise. That’s your daily reality here. Management? A revolving door of incompetence. Strategy meetings are just chaotic guesswork, roles change on a whim, and the only “structure” in place is micromanagement layered with paranoia. There is no vision, no support, and absolutely no path forward. The lies begin before your first day — claims of a prestigious client list, inflated employee numbers (they’ll say 50–200, but you’ll see barely 15 people on the team), and promises of growth. Don’t be fooled. What you’ll actually find is a company built on delusion and smoke screens. People aren’t being let go — they’re escaping. If you’re passionate about your career, crave a healthy work environment, or even just want to be treated with baseline respect, this is not the place for you. It’s a dead-end trap where potential goes to die. Apply here only if you want a front-row seat to dysfunction. Otherwise, stay far, far away.

Cons

• Salary never comes on time — be ready for endless excuses each month. • No professionalism — management is disorganized, unskilled, and unaccountable. • Double standards — old employees are treated with favoritism; new ones are ignored or overburdened. • No structure or leadership — you’ll be left confused, unsupported, and constantly second-guessing your role. • False claims — they say they’ve worked with luxury brands and have 50–200 employees. Truth? Around 15–20 people work here. • Two companies, same mess — Basil Homes and Howl India are run by the same owner. Both suffer from the same toxic culture. • Fake promises, real stress — growth opportunities are non-existent, and the work culture is deeply demotivating. Final Note to Job Seekers: Before applying, do yourself a favor and read the reviews on Basil Homes’ Google page. You’ll quickly understand why so many people regret joining.
