Pros

Employees are smart and care about the mission of the company. People are generally willing to jump in on projects, swap ideas, and get to know others over lunch, happy hours, or other company events. There's a good mix of work and fun with regular company events - golf and sand volleyball tournaments, holiday parties, etc. The flexibility and benefits offered are top tier - unlimited vacation that's actually encouraged to be used, sabbaticals, promotion of creating your own work/life harmony, child care facility located at HQ is exceptional for parents, equity is available at certain levels, premiums are covered for employee health and life insurance, 401(k) match with standard or roth options, etc.

Cons

Teams can be cliquey - would be nice to have more cross-department mingling and understanding. The physical office space in Lincoln is great, but very few come into the office regularly. The Omaha office could use some work.

Pros

-Positive Business Outlook: Users love Hudl and it's a very forward-thinking product that has a great place in the future -Values-led culture/norms: People are at the heart of how we operate -Very talented overall workforce: Our bar on hiring is super high and performance management process works if there are clear underperformers. -People genuinely get along with each other for the moist part - far better than most organizations with huge silo walls.

Cons

-Decision-making bottleneck at exec-team level with some pretty hands on leaders in the weeds on too much. -Some teams are quite top-heavy, a poor micro-culture on the team, and have less accountability than they should (Finance/Accounting specifically) -We can settle on talent in key roles that is in a key hub where we have an office since less remote hiring is approved.
