Pros
HU has amazing perks and benefits! Salary is beyond what you would receive working directly in nonprofit service. The people are very passionate and committed to the work. Management is very understanding about personal priorities and supports personal growth, even if that does not exist in the organization.
Cons
Not the most dynamic of foundations. There are multiple layers, which can make things feel unwieldy. If you lead with passion and the issues HU works on be prepared to need to learn how to navigate corporate culture and process.
