Pros

Good products, well placed manufacturing system, and efficient machine and equipment. Beautiful lake and park near by.

Cons

No diversity. All workers are Hispanic and some don't even speak English. You are looked down upon if you are not of Hispanic race, regardless of above and beyond performance. I have 10+ years manufacturing experience and was let go in favor of a Hispanic where this was his very 1st manufacturing job.

Thank you for the feedback*. Skills, experience and cultural fit for the organization are the only factors considered when making a hiring decision. We're proud of our employees, our products and our community; all of which are quite diverse. Our workforce is comprised of a nearly 50/50 split between minorities and non-minorities. More workplace demographics can be found in the review of Hunter Industries written by Great Place to Work: http://reviews.greatplacetowork.com/hunter-industries. *Based on the short tenure mentioned in this review, compared to our average of 14 years, it's possible that the reviewer was actually not an employee of Hunter Industries but rather a temporary employee from our contingent workforce provider.

Pros

Develop resilience, seek better opportunities!

Cons

SO MANY that it cannot be covered in one page even. CEO is likable but the senior, mid-low level management are not so good. They however operate to the cadence of the CEO. I have seen so far in my professional career. No professional etiquette, no empathy for its employees, They don't want assertive and productive employees; they want people who are desperate for employment workers and low in confidence. Pay is below market. Incentive is even worst, Out of guilt, they offer an annual bonus that’s about 10% of compensation and is driven by company performance. To offset many inefficient processes and lost revenue, they hire and tolerate low skilled workers. Managers are inexperienced, highly non-cooperative and not supportive. Employees who have committed decades of service were harassed and forced to leave. Your career flounder because your job duties are not likely to translate well, unless you’re an engineer, or a warehouse worker. Work/life balance is affected by working for a terrible manager.
