Pros
Originally a small company that was bought out by a larger corporation. For many years we were able to operate somewhat as we always had, however, when the VP stepped down, many changes began to happen.
Many of the employees have worked together for 15+ years and at a previous company. The knowledge and depth of experience is key.
Benefits are about average for large companies these days.
Cons
Training is scattered and at best minimal. Bickering amongst teammates that effects the mood of the whole office. People have been allowed to bully others and not get fired and laugh about it. Gossip!!! and Gossip from upper management.
The new VP has not been able to bring the team up to speed with changing times without having to resort to bulldozing and being overpowered by corporate.
Raises are not really given out, the year end bonus which is based on overall company performance is considered your "raise", however, no matter how well you did, if the company did not meet goal, you get nothing or little.
