Pros

Clean environment. Climate controlled. That's about it. Nothing else is really positive as the management is a train wreck of arrogant engineers on a power trip.

Cons

Management from the CEO down is horrible. Arrogant, short sighted Destructive narcissism runs throughout the entire automotive management division. If you don't have an engineering degree you will be treating very poorly. They do not believe in investing in employees at all for growth and would rather force them out with poor treatment. Turnover rate is continually rising.

Dear anonymous current employee of HUSCO Automotive, I wanted to take the time at the end of my day to reply to this post. Why? Because I care. I care about the future of HUSCO Automotive, I care about our future employees and others who may read this post, and most of all, I care about you! I prefer not to post my reply anonymously because I feel it is important to address your concerns openly and honestly. My name is Austin Schmitt, and, as you may already know, I am the Director of Automotive Programs for HUSCO Automotive and part of the HUSCO management team. I have worked at HUSCO for over 13 years and I would like to humbly address some of your concerns regarding HUSCO management and treatment of our employees. It is evident from the post that you are currently very frustrated in your role at HUSCO. I really encourage you to please come talk to me or someone else on the management or HR team. My office door is always open, as it is for the vast majority of HUSCO management and Human Resources. I have to ask a few questions because the concerns highlighted do not align with my experience at HUSCO. Have you voiced your concerns to anyone in management? Have you talked with your manager or anyone about your desire for growth and development? I would be happy to talk about your career ladder, on-the-job training or enrolling in some classes to assist you with your career goals. I have to ask these questions because as an employee for over 13 years, having worked in several capacities of HUSCO engineering, quality, manufacturing, and management and I want to see others achieve their career goals. I’ve also never seen a situation where an employee couldn’t have a face-to-face, open and honest healthy discussion about any problem or opportunity and walk away without a plan in place with actions toward resolution. Is the management at HUSCO confident? Yes! Are they arrogant? Perhaps, if you were to misinterpret arrogance for being competitive and having a desire to build a strong organization. Above all else, I hope you understand that HUSCO management cares about you. If you are feeling frustrated with your career at HUSCO, please say something. We can’t help make things better if we don’t know there is a problem. Please stop by, I am very willing to discuss your concerns-no questions asked. Sincerely, Austin Schmitt Director of Automotive Programs HUSCO Automotive

Pros

Good learning for fresh out of college as you get hands-on on everything

Cons

Since it is a tier 1- You have to be hands - on from day 1 and you were expected to wear multiple hats at once.
