Pros

The people Hustle attracted both as clients and employees at the peak of its existence were wonderful. If you are looking to work with cool people, follow the exodus of alumni that have either been laid off or left on their own to go elsewhere.

Cons

There is nothing good left of this company. Between various members of leadership that led the company to implode (after we raised $30M not even 9 months earlier) and those who handled the lay-offs in such an inhumane, improper, and illegal way and the ramifications that took place after....nothing is left. A few staff who failed up and back stabbed as many of their former (now laid off) colleagues remain. They, the failed former CEO, and the saddest leadership team that never really existed are all that are left. They're moving to the third office they've had in the last year later this week, clients hate them and are looking for something better...this place is a dump. Did we mention they had the audacity to use the Hustle platform to message former laid off staff "Happy Holidays, whats your favorite moment you've had with Hustle in 2019?" this week? This is the SECOND TIME this has happened after they sent out the same message last year to November's laid off group. Who does that?!

Pros

Good medical benefits, flexible time off and sabbatical policy (if you make it that long). Really fun culture and opportunities to get to know people outside of work meetings.

Cons

Stagnant career growth for employees that don't fall in line, huge disconnect between employees and management, vindictive behavior in senior leadership that was never addressed/ignored, poor hiring practices, hiring "experts" with no SaaS experience, fake mission and values, promoting based on tenure not performance, scaling too quickly leading to layoffs in the same year, some leaders within the organization demonstrated inefficiencies in budget management, resulting in the expenditure of over half a million dollars within a single year, and laying off a quarter of the staff six weeks before the end of the year with an insulting severance package. They'll lure you in with their mission, but beware, they're not ingrained in the day-to-day because if it was, all of leadership would be gone.
