Pros

Good funding, this is not easy for a Hong Kong startup. Many many people in this compny so won't bored if you like to meet people. Office area is good near causewaybay. Some times we can have many party together especially in Christmas.

Cons

Firstly near all of the negative comments are real. So do not repeat again and just read up. If you still wan to work in this company I will ask you what do you want to do. If you want to be a machine then come. This company treats people very very bad. Poor benefits. Not fair salary. No culture. Bad office atmosphere. Give orders as if you are machine. Like to randomly fire people, you always work in fear. Management is not real management since the company is controlled by Nova (investor). Try to imagine workin with many unhappy staff and machines in one office building, and the atomsphere here is worse than taht

Pros

- Great place to learn and grow - Management is willing to mentor and help you learn - Colleagues are very diverse, come from all corners of the world. Makes for interesting and fun workplace - If you prove yourself capable, the opportunities here are incredible. You could be given full ownership over a project, and even put in charge of a team - Fast growing company that recently received considerable funding from VERY credible investors - Great market opportunity for the space the company is developing in - Many teams and positions and flexible arrangements where you could move around teams if you want wider exposure - Hong Kong is a great place to work and live - and so much more... Honestly could not recommend this company enough!

Cons

- Typical frustrations of working at a startup: - Lack of engineering talent in Hong Kong makes it difficult to find and retain good programmers (but this is a widespread problem across startups in Hong Kong) - You need to be very self-driven to succeed here. You need to be able to own your project/product/code, be eager to learn, and keep an open-minded - For former bankers/consultants: startup culture is very different from banking/consultancy culture in terms of work/life balance. Which could actually be a bad thing when you're leading a team and used to being a perfectionist

Pros

- remuneration package was very decent when compare to similar institutions - good at making content that make people thinks it's a nice

Cons

- low quality service - scam reward mechanism, no one follow up with the enquiries - worst HR department i have never seen in my past over 15 years experience, only say what they want to say and they don't listen, employee review was robotic, ask questions, then you answered with no continue conversation. it was not a conversation - bad culture - financial completely rely on investors and large scale retrenchment can be happen suddenly, it happened few times already but they never announced
