China man culture It’s like an agency module role, you got to manage 4 tech brands x [number of channels] x [number of region] Manager don’t know what she is doing. Do not know how to execute ad channel, loves to screenshot while doing data report. Weak technical knowledge despite having a high position. Loves to create politic Overall the App performance team only have 5people, (2 junior, 1 manager, and 1 senior manager) Anyone who joins in will be the replacement of the last talent who left Communication wise, they only use line to communicate. Yea, LINE No email no nothing, all conversation is not properly tracked You do not have your task assigned properly with given timeline, everything is rushing at last minute For all new candidates who is going to join the interview for performance marketing app team Stop proceeding the interview

I worked at Hytech’s Malaysia office and had a disappointing experience overall. The workplace culture lacked diversity, with the team being heavily concentrated in one demographic, which made the environment feel less inclusive. There was a strong sense of micromanagement, and the overall atmosphere often felt tense and unproductive rather than collaborative. Despite having prior experience in the fintech industry, I found that expertise and performance were not always recognized or valued appropriately. In some cases, less experienced employees appeared to be given preferential treatment, which affected team morale and fairness in progression. Hytech operates as a BPO handling multiple brokerage clients such as Vantage, PU Prime, and Moneta. However, based on my experience, internal processes and team management could benefit from significant improvement to better support employees and maintain a healthier work environment. I would encourage potential candidates to carefully consider these factors before joining, whether in Malaysia or other locations like Thailand, Morocco, or Vietnam.

Completely unaware of what is happening kinda management. HR is a joke where they have completely no idea on whats going on. Income tax here is paid on the lowest bracket with LHDB which means that during the e-failing YOU WILL DEFINATELY NEED TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE. When questioned no proper answer was given that I had to reach out to LHDN myself. If you cant speak Chinese, better dont even apply here since everyone communicates here in Chinese and I dont mean communicate in pantry but communicate in official meetings where they expect you to understand the meeting context via a built in translator on their communication platform (lark) No leeway for WFH or Hybrid but employees in Kl eco city can work hybrid. Only the ones from Menara Southpoint and ICS HQ have to come work everyday.
