Pros
- Supportive and forward-thinking manager always looking to help me progress. A lot of professional development offered through online learning - Nice office environment and a friendly team - Support functions like IT and HR are helpful - Recent focus on DEI initiatives - mostly female workforce - Range of employee benefits - Hybrid work policy is very flexible and my manager was attentive to the teams health and wellbeing - Where possible, they look to bring on students and encourage long term careers with the business.
Cons
- Not much of a social aspect - something younger staff tend to look for - Approval of new initiatives can be slow. Some managers can be quite traditional in their processes and thinking - Salaries not competitive with current market rates, but money isn't everything - A disconnect between upper management and the lower-level employees. Can think of the odd one or two that would leave their offices to have chit chat with the team
