Pros

Great location in financial district. Work/life balance is good, had flexible schedule. Good amount of work, never felt overworked. Benefits were OK, average at best.

Cons

Staff was great when I worked here and then things started going downhill fast due to poor management. This is a communications organization yet management never seemed to know how to communicate. Don't tell staff you are laying people off only to tell them we'll let you know in a week if you are the one being laid off or not.

Pros

For a recent college graduate, just getting started in my professional career, this began as a great opportunity. I learned valuable administrative and professional customer service skills. The pay was decent, although not great. No benefits, although it was also technically a temp position

Cons

The department I was working in basically disintegrated right around me. There had been a huge round of layoffs the prior year and most of people left working were doing the jobs of three different other people. Management had promised pay raises for the added responsibility, and when they never made good people left in droves. The writing was on the wall, but management refused to actually support or compensate their staff such to retain them. Regrettably, I saw a lot this attitude from management. A seemingly complete indifference to their own staff, seemingly very little desire to retain them. Kind of hard to keep an organization going if you don't have a staff left to actually do any work...
