Pros

Some wonderfull co-workers, however due to compnay being not very keen on promotions and raises, you will barely learn people's names and they'll be gone. Good place to start career but once your training wheels are off you will almost be encouraged to move on, especially if you ask for pay review or career advancement. You can hear "but this is not what we hired you for"!

Cons

Poor wages and no career development. Company does not want to train you as it would mean higher wage, unless you'll agree to do two roles for a very humble raise. When someone leaves (which is all the time) very often position stays unfilled and rest of the team is simply expected to pick up their duties.

IBB Law Response

We at IBB Solicitors are sorry you feel this way. IBB pays market rate for roles and we undertake annual benchmarking salary reviews to ensure that all our roles are aligned to market rate. We feel confident that we pay competitively for a law firm of our size located in our geographical region. We are a medium size law firm with a total headcount of less than 200. Team sizes are smaller and more specialist which does mean that upward progression opportunities are more limited. We have, however had very positive feedback from both past and present employees on the hands on experience they receive as well as the breadth and depth of exposure and experience obtained. We take on board on all feedback and thank you for your comments.
