Pros
Colleagues are true experts in their respective industries, no window dressing or slight of hand needed. Company is a true meritocracy: management must sell projects, junior staff must deliver them. While this may be a con for some people, you always know exactly where you stand, and if you perform you will be recognized and rewarded. A terrific place to launch a career for any hardworking analyst.
Cons
Management is extremely set in its mold. No opportunities for innovation, either growing the existing offering or developing new offerings. This is shame given the remarkable transformation underway in the global energy markets, to name one example.
