Pros

Flexible schedule Networking opportunities Opportunity for training Has an excellent reputation in the environmental field, very well respected

Cons

Work level is not comeserate with salary, in fact salary is far below average for same level of work in the public sector. Very difficult to get a promotion and pay increase. To much reliance on employees to network for billable work as opposed to managers who work with staff to get them put on projects. Not for someone who is intraverted and doesnt like to pester co-workers for billable work; Often managers are excellent at project management and dealing with clients, but horrible at leading a team/people management Expectations to exceed billability goals is overwhelming and results in high employee burn out

Pros

People, Mission, Culture, Technology, Remote. You work on projects and technologies that actually impact and improves the day to day lives of people around you, the community and the Country

Cons

Pay, No much room for upward mobility. If you are a high performer, you'll struggle as the structure rewards years spent in the company vs level of expertise or experience.
