Several poorly organized projects, with gross mismanagement from Leadership, down... especially at the Director level. There will be up to 25 people on a team, several people with roles at the Manager level and they refuse to contribute to the project. I was led to believe that the agility of my team was '3/5'. It was closer to 0.5/5. When I brought this to the attention of several different 'leaders' on the project, I would hear 'Yeah, we should work on that' and nothing would change. At some point, I tried to improve certain processes across the team and I was met with hostility from someone at the Director level, it became uncomfortable to work here and without a job lined up, I decided it was better to ultimately quit because I was being micro-managed and essentially harassed in what I feel was a retaliatory way. I asked HR in my exit interview if they could waive the sign-on bonus, since it was supposed to be a means for them to increase my pay since it was lower than what I was previously making and I didnt feel like I was told the truth about the company during my interviews. They waited a day and just turned down the request without any real reason. I think a company like this is just unethical and probably best to be avoided. Even if you are looking for something in the short term, contracting is probably a better option to stay afloat.
