I worked in the power and RE sector as an Intern. Being from Economics background I did not have much experience in the power department so whatever work I did involved great learning. Everyday new tasks and so much exposure.

I did not really experience any downsides.

Cons
Pay, No much room for upward mobility. If you are a high performer, you'll struggle as the structure rewards years spent in the company vs level of expertise or experience.
