I showed up on a normal weekday to work when I was laid off with no warning. They told me there was a company wide tech problem instead of being honest that I had been laid off and that’s why I had been locked out of the system.
There was no room for growth, at least my manager (who I was told was supposed provide project opportunities) didn’t provide any.
I constantly had to beg my manager to be put on projects to put my skills to more use and then they would put me on really short-term projects no one wanted.
What they said I would be doing in my role during the interview was not entirely correct.
The team I was on had a high turnover rate and in less than 2 years I was working with a completely different team than I was hired by.
