Pros

Company recently moved to the Carmel Mountain area that is surrounded by restaurants and shopping. Co-workers are diverse, friendly, intelligent and fun people. Benefits are OK, but could be better.

Cons

In no particular order: Parking situation at the new office is terrible. Not enough spaces and the one's that are there are too narrow. Several cars have been damaged. New open floor plan was designed to foster collaboration but instead is loud and not conducive to working, especially if you need to concentrate. People are more likely to stand around socializing instead of working. In some places lighting is too dark, in some places too bright. Break rooms are right in the work space and too close to areas where people work. Smelly food drifts throughout the work space. Inexplicable tours are conducted throughout the day making you feel like you're in a zoo. C level folks wander around with sour looks on their face. The IT department is under new leadership. So far not impressed or encouraged by the direction they seem to be headed. There seems to be a lot more secrecy amongst upper management and decisions are being made that appear to be more ego-driven and self-serving than anything else. Favoritism is rampant, alienating those that are not among the chosen few but hard-working nonetheless. Upper management has been known to openly rundown and criticize Co-workers and subordinates.

Pros

Triage department does some of the initial contacts.

Cons

Management is going in the wrong direction. New changes and processes with added work while taking tools away to help you do your work. The changes and processes are meant to cut costs to help the company expand while overworking the adjusters which negatively impacts claims handling and services provided to customers.
