Pros
Relaxed casual dress code (seriously, tshirts and jeans are okay and it's great). The company is forward thinking and always looking to get better. Tons of room for growth. As an underwriting tech, promotions happen fast. Frequent little fun things for employees (potlucks, celebrations, appreciation days). Your work is at work, very separate from home. Supervisors are always willing to do whatever they can to help out and are team players, which is a very important thing for the success of a company.
Cons
It's not the most exciting job in the world. Because of the companies desire to do better and grow, it means things change often, which can sometimes be frustrating when you learn a way to do something and then it changes. So adaptability is a good skill to have. Production numbers matter.
