We are very sorry to hear that your tenure at IDEX Biometrics has not been a more positive experience for you. Our recent decision to close our U.S. offices has been a very difficult one, and is not something we have taken lightly. However, as a Norwegian company with key investors in Europe, we feel it is the right approach for us to centralize our engineering operations within the European region. This is not based on personal preference of any individual member of the leadership team, but upon solid business rationale. We must also state that the comments you have provided here regarding salaries are inaccurate and misleading.
With IDEX Pay and IDEX Access, we have strong competitive platforms in the market. The increasing need for better security solutions is expected to drive the opportunity for biometric smart cards at scale. IDEX is committed to propelling this market together with our strong card manufacturing partners and by leveraging our implementation programs, reaching various segments of these massive populations in our target markets.
We believe that this market positioning, coupled with our recent organizational changes, positions IDEX in a strong position for market success.
