Pros

You get exposure to both manual and automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Great place to develop full-stack QA skills: UI, API, backend data validation.

Cons

Some older parts of the platform require extra manual verification. Technical debt sometimes makes automation harder.

Pros

Only a handful of people are willing to help when you're new. If you keep your head down, focus on your assigned work, stop trying to innovate or introduce new ideas, and simply follow orders, you'll likely do well. Most people, including your managers, don't seem to understand how product management is supposed to work. As long as you do whatever they ask without questioning it, that's generally considered success here.

Cons

Very few team members truly know what they are doing or are willing to help others. No one on the product team appears to have substantial product management experience, so they often don't understand the concepts you're discussing or support many of your recommendations. Although you attend a full day of onboarding and training, no one provides meaningful guidance on the tools you'll actually be using. Even when you ask for help, it's difficult to get support because many people are still trying to figure things out themselves through trial and error.
