Pros

Good retirement match and comprehensive Healthcare plans. Flexible hybrid work environment.

Cons

Employer passed off healthcare increases to employees rather than subsidizing. Company wide freeze on promotions and raises while CEO got a 124% increase. CEO continually flies first class internationally and brings his spouse (check IRS tax filings on Propublica). Frustrating disconnect at upper management level, very poor future planning with system rebuild.

Pros

Middle and lower management advocate for their direct reports and works to support their team when they can.

Cons

Upper management is not held accountable for their actions. They continuously overrule existing policies and procedures to cater to one or two students as a money grab, while jeopardizing the entire student cohort's ability to go abroad. They completely disregard the mental well-being of their staff and continuously make unreasonable demands, resulting in high levels of burnout. Are we an educational institution? Or are we simply trying to increase numbers for revenue? Raising issues or reporting inappropriate workplace behavior to your manager will only get you so far as the current structure doesn't allow for them to properly provide this feedback. There is limited room for growth in the department as it continues to be disrespected by other departments (especially their leadership) and is one of the lowest compensated US departments in the organization. This position has seen high levels of turnover and the talks currently surrounding employee retention are laughable as the person currently "leading" multiple departments is directly responsible for team members leaving.
