Pros

My experience so far has been genuinely positive. The team has been very welcoming and supportive, especially in helping me understand how things work and connecting me with colleagues across locations. The onboarding process was smooth and well-structured, with information easily accessible when needed. Work culture feels flexible, with a good level of trust and no pressure to extend beyond working hours unnecessarily. From an administrative perspective, things have been hassle-free, including facilities like cafeteria with free food, and ample parking space. Overall, it has been a comfortable and well-supported start.

Cons

As with any growing organization, there are still areas evolving, particularly around automation and process optimization, which are currently in progress. While flexible work arrangements are a plus, the transition to a more structured in-office schedule may take some adjustment for employees used to fully flexible setups.

Pros

As a sales rep at IFS, you have a unique opportunity to disrupt the ERP, EAM, FSM and AI market by providing robust industry specific capabilities across each of these solution areas on a single platform that addresses a lot of the critical pain points customers have today with legacy/traditional enterprise software providers. IFS invests deeply not just in their platform but also in brand and marketing. This creates a lot of exciting opportunities to be relevant to your customers and prospects (i.e. Big Ten sponsorship and F1 Cadillac sponsorship). This is a good time to be a sales rep at IFS.

Cons

My biggest complaint is the recent turnover in leadership in North America. Created a period of uncertainty but has since stabilized for the most part. IFS has grown fast over the last few years. This obviously comes with some growth pains. For example, limited presales resources. IFS also needs to work on newer customer references. IFS has typically relied on the same customer references which are strong but it would be powerful to see new customer references emerging from some of the newer larger customers IFS has acquired over the last few years.
