Pros

Employees have to work closely with customers in the Global Consulting department.

Cons

Imagine walking into this company with high hopes, only to have those hopes shattered by the harsh reality of how they treat their employees. It's like stepping into a nightmare where promises of prosperity and success quickly fade into a bleak landscape of neglect and exploitation, reminiscent of the struggles faced by workers in nearby sweatshops. When it's time for salary increases, management pulls the rug out from under you, claiming they can't afford to give more than a measly 5% raise. They try to mask this insult with complicated schemes, while line managers have the nerve to defend these paltry raises as if they were doing you a favor. In the Global Consulting Department, Sri Lanka, it's a different kind of hell. Promotions offer nothing but a fancy title change, with no real increase in pay. Trying to raise concerns with management is like banging your head against a brick wall. they offer empty reassurances about job security while ignoring your pleas for fair compensation. Transparency is a foreign concept here, with decisions made behind closed doors and benefits withheld from those who deserve them. Even when top executives visit, they turn a blind eye to the cries for fair treatment and just compensation. And yet, despite all this, the company has the audacity to announce plans to hire more employees, all while neglecting the ones they already have. It's a cycle of exploitation that leaves you feeling trapped and undervalued. If you're thinking about joining this company, tread carefully. Your worth as an employee will be measured in pennies, while management's priorities lie elsewhere. Working at IFS Sri Lanka feels less like a career and more like being stuck in a never-ending nightmare, destined to become just another casualty in the relentless pursuit of profit.

Pros

As a sales rep at IFS, you have a unique opportunity to disrupt the ERP, EAM, FSM and AI market by providing robust industry specific capabilities across each of these solution areas on a single platform that addresses a lot of the critical pain points customers have today with legacy/traditional enterprise software providers. IFS invests deeply not just in their platform but also in brand and marketing. This creates a lot of exciting opportunities to be relevant to your customers and prospects (i.e. Big Ten sponsorship and F1 Cadillac sponsorship). This is a good time to be a sales rep at IFS.

Cons

My biggest complaint is the recent turnover in leadership in North America. Created a period of uncertainty but has since stabilized for the most part. IFS has grown fast over the last few years. This obviously comes with some growth pains. For example, limited presales resources. IFS also needs to work on newer customer references. IFS has typically relied on the same customer references which are strong but it would be powerful to see new customer references emerging from some of the newer larger customers IFS has acquired over the last few years.
