Pros
The company has an excellent culture, but leadership realizes that it takes constant focus and effort to maintain a strong culture. The pandemic has impacted IFT in many ways, but the Board of Directors and management continues to appreciate the staff and has tremendous confidence in the entire staff. Staff is recognized weekly in individual departments, monthly by the CEO in all staff meetings and quarterly by the Board of Directors. IFT has won recent awards in the city for best places to work and has all the benefits that go along with that. Flexible work schedule, work from home, wellness programs, monthly training offerings, current technology, health club or yoga subsidies, several insurance options, birthday & anniversary celebrations any many other benefits that enhance the work life experience. Staff is really encouraged to speak up at staff meetings and in many cases suggestions where possible are enacted.
Cons
Since the staff is somewhat small, there may not be as many opportunities at a larger company, but if you have ambition, drive and positivity there usually is an upward path for you!
