Pros
- Very good equipment
- Good utilities (Factory kitchen, toilets etc.)
- Understanding
- Plenty of opportunities
- Exception wage for apprenticeship
When I started management were sure to give us all a warm welcome and show us all the different opportunities available. Which was very motivating. The course was a 2 Year NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Cons
- Divide between the staff (Racial most likely)
- Poor communication
- Poor Preparation (The factory manager didn't know we were even started until we turned up at his door on Monday morning)
There were times when I enjoyed working for IGMSS, and there were some times I didn't. Ultimately, I took some liberties which I hadn't earnt and found myself not very popular with the rest of the work force, which sadly led to me not enjoying working as much. Overall my experience was a little unpleasant due to me not really enjoying the job role so much and I had more interest for the AutoCad upstairs so I was so eager to start that I often forgot where I really was.
