Pros

Strong, mission-driven organization with a meaningful cause. Talented and dedicated clergy who work hard and inspire. A passionate and committed community of supporters.

Cons

Poor management structure, with inexperienced individuals in key roles. Minimal opportunities for career growth or advancement. Pay is not reflective of the workload; overtime is often not recognized. Management is disconnected from daily operations and out of touch with staff needs. Outdated data management systems that are inefficient and frustrating to work with. The organization tends to rely heavily on staff's passion for the cause while offering limited support or fair compensation.

Pros

Their mission of inclusivity and social justice (if only leadership actually lived up to their ideals)

Cons

This place is a parody of the way non-profits use gaslighting tactics to extract as much labor out of employees for exploitatively low pay (i.e. gaslighting hourly employees by framing unpaid work/time as “built into their salaries” when hourly literally means you don’t have a salary. They have impossibly high expectations and treat educators as expendable. Despite claiming to be collaborative, leadership is passive-aggressive and punitive to those with less power.
