Pros

I took employment here because I couldn't find any work during the economic downturn. I did meet some great people here. However that immediately changes when you deal with managers. Managers do not support their employees, and their is a lot of backstabbing. But the sincere people there are great!

Cons

IMRIS is full of poor managers that, when push comes to shove, will consistently backstab one another and fellow employees. Leadership is nonexistent. And there is a huge push to get things done where poor results are rewarded and quality work is harassed (because it takes to long). My advice, if they offer you a job, take it, but don't ignore other offers when they come up. There is a lot of nepotism at IMRIS which I obviously cannot elaborate on. But it becomes crystal clear after working there a month. I also found that most managers had a personal agenda.

Pros

IMRIS offers amazing benefits and opportunities to connect with teammates. A flexible work schedule with an opportunity to work from home is also appreciated. Love the small company atmosphere, where you can really get to know your co-workers. The work that IMRIS does makes a difference in the lives of patients globally, and that is meaningful.

Cons

Location can be a challenge in hiring, as Chaska, MN is not a hub for medical device.

Pros

Going from 3 days to 2 days, increased in high productivity as an individual performance.

Cons

There is no established quality structure, and decisions often default to whoever is the loudest rather than the most knowledgeable. Operations management lacks the necessary experience, especially when dealing with NCRs and Change Orders. The leadership team is rarely present, and the company operates in a heavily siloed environment. Collaboration and communication remain weak, though there was slight improvement when the on-site requirement was reduced from three days to two.
