Pros
ING has been a fantastic place to work - I initially joined as an intern on graduating from university, with no prior experience in the built environment or PR and communications.
ING has an amazing office and within my first week I had met almost everyone, my colleagues were very welcoming and approachable, one of the reasons why I was able to learn about the industry so quickly. The ability to go to almost anyone with queries, alongside introductory sessions meant I was able to quickly build my confidence and be brought up to date with sector trends.
The office has a good range of ages with various social events happening throughout the year including walking tours of The City and Summer/Christmas parties.
Cons
ING is a company where the more you give, the more you get - this isn't really a con because both the ING hosted and industry events are a lot of fun - but is worth keeping in mind. I would definitely recommend attending as many events, awards, conferences etc as you can, this is something that you are encouraged to do from day one and you will find the job much more enjoyable and easier if you do!
