Pros
I almost can't believe that a company like INTURN exists and that I somehow stumbled upon this opportunity through a mutual friend in its very early stages. It's rare that you get to work at a startup that is solving a complex problem in an industry; as a result, everyone in the office is incredibly motivated and sees a glaring need for the solution we're building. It's been incredibly rewarding to see the product take shape via the immensely collaborative work environment, the urge/encouragement to speak up and voice your opinion (regardless of team or level), and the healthy debate that keeps me challenged at work virtually every day. I couldn't have designed a better company for myself; one that values intellectual curiosity, hard work, and fun. The management team is seasoned (unlike many startups run by kids, where mentorship and experience are lacking) and is invested in both the company's success and the success of the individual employees. INTURN is the proverbial rocket ship and I'm so lucky to be a part of it.
Cons
Very few cons; investors seem to be tight surrounding handing out additional equity options as compensation, but that may be because when asked what INTURN's exit strategy is, they replied with, 'there is no exit strategy, it's a billion dollar business.'
