Pros
IOM gives an amazing array of benefits for international professionals working outside their home country. Education grant (80% of tuition fees), Rental subsidy, post adjustment that is country specific to help with the cost of living abroad among others.
Cons
I assume due to the funding constraints the organization offers lower UN grades for senior roles. For example a role that should be at grade P4 would be offered at P3 at IOM. The upside is you are learning a higher skillset early on.
