Pros

I joined the Leadership Development program out of school and was able to experience a number of different roles quickly to help me figure out what I wanted to do longer term. ION is a true meritocracy, where high performers are quickly rewarded with additional responsibility and large increases in compensation. The office culture is great, lots of networking and social events, and snacks in the kitchen. Everyone at ION is very welcoming, and open, making it easy to get settled as a new joiner. Strong focus on CSR, through company volunteering and donations to charities around the world. Very easy to get involved even at an entry level. I've had the opportunity to travel quite a bit as well to various client sites and ION offices, spending extended periods of time in many of our offices in New York , London, and India as well as a variety of client sites across North America and Europe. Learning about the various working cultures of each geography has been very rewarding, and helped me to grow both personally and professionally. Overall, its been a great experience!

Cons

Communication has not always been great from senior management, though this has improved greatly recently and I hope it continues to do so.

Pros

I get to work from home and have a grand-fathered in unlimited PTO policy. And that's about it.

Cons

RUN. This is just a horrible company to work for. Either you are living in constant fear of being fired or you are so overworked you feel like you have to work 60 hours a week just to do the bare minimum. The CEO, Andrea, is just gutting everything, doing mass layoffs over and over again. He has no clear visit for the company, goal posts keep changing, and everyone is setup to fail.
