Pros

Really fun culture for young hires out of school Lots of opportunity for travel Cool office buildings and locations Work/Life balance is better than investment banking As a rotational analyst, lots of exposure to business functions and highly-experienced leaders Way more autonomy than similar rotational programs at big companies Culture varies by office Smart coworkers

Cons

The further up the chain you go, the more you are exposed to really troubling, basic structural problems within the organization Everyone must bow to the whims of the CEO, who stays extremely removed from employees and cares little for their morale Many non-analysts frustrated with upper management

Pros

I get to work from home and have a grand-fathered in unlimited PTO policy. And that's about it.

Cons

RUN. This is just a horrible company to work for. Either you are living in constant fear of being fired or you are so overworked you feel like you have to work 60 hours a week just to do the bare minimum. The CEO, Andrea, is just gutting everything, doing mass layoffs over and over again. He has no clear visit for the company, goal posts keep changing, and everyone is setup to fail.
