Due to the financial instability at the company, morale is very low. Numerous lay-offs and an almost palpable tension between the two sets of developers responsible for the two core products contribute to this atmosphere.
There is a lack of good management in the company, and processes are poorly defined. There is a lot of internal animosity between international divisions and very little teamwork.
The general atmosphere in the office is stale. It feels like a library much of the time, no social interactions are going on, people locked into their own little worlds, many spend a good portion of the day with headphones on, as if blocking out the rest of the world.
For the company to be successful, it will need better management, and a happier environment.
As it stands, the two best things about the company - the product itself and the founders - are not enough to call this a great company.
