Animal facility is good, and has friendly staff.
Cons
I am technically a McGill postdoc, but my lab is located at IRCM, and not considered a McGill employee, and I lose all benefits due to that. The salary is low. No insurance or employee/union benefits exist. It is not an inclusive environment if you are not francophone. People would talk/write to you in French knowing very well that you don't speak French.
