Pros
Growth, a great team to work with, and the ability to ask anyone in the office a question without intimidation. Our team owns the culture. I would love to say it’s more specific than that but it’s something that’s ever changing and adapts based on the team. What I can tell you is that those who thrive our environment have distinct qualities: they own their passion, they make it a point to understand and ask why, they have their own point-of-view but can empathize with others and they’re willing to raise their hand to a challenge. Our clients are some of the best in our industry too. Down-to-earth and just working to help their companies be as successful as they can be. Our busy time revolves around prepping our clients for a successful tradeshow season and the marketing and PR materials that support those. And the rest is fulfilling corporate branding and business needs. I often get asked what my favorite part of the job is and the answer has been the same every time: growth. But not the kind that someone tells you your path, the kind that as you get to experience and gain a broader understanding of the company and client goals you can step up and ask to grow into something new. Are you going to come in to work every day and love your job? I’m not sure, I hope you love your job. But the only one capable of that kind of control is you. If you’d like to know if this company is a fit for you my name is Sarah. I’ve been here for more than seven years and I’d be glad to answers your questions.
Cons
High client expectations so it’s good to know how you navigate and adapt in fast paced or stressful situations. Niche industry can be a big learning curve, so being comfortable in asking questions.
