Pros

Nothing anymore. It's not worth it anymore.

Cons

ISA used to be fantastic to work for, but they're under new "global education" management and it's absolutely awful now, so I quit. They want free work from instructors just because they said so. For example, they have rankings for instructors now and what they call "level-up exam requirements" to see if you'll be a Gold Instructor, Platinum Instructor, or Facilitator. That means you have to take exams and go to training sessions, and if you're in the bottom tier you basically get the leftovers of those above you. Ironic for a company that now tells instructors to preach to students about "equality". They have been sending countless long emails that ramble on and on, requiring instructors to read endless new or updated policies, portal instructions etc. (What's worse is that the people writing the emails can't even write properly). This all amounts to hours and hours of free work they simply expect you to put in to "make our programmes a success!" None of this is surprising once you realize that they went completely woke, so, obviously, they believe the world revolves around them and so instructors owe them their free time. Here I was thinking I was supposed to teach English to non-native speakers, but new management sent instructors emails to tell us, in a nutshell, that we are social justice warriors expected to bring social justice and political bias into the classroom. The email is appalling and I feel bad for any child that attends new ISA's woke programs. It's garbage through and through.
