Pros

Nothing great here, except Idiocy, Ethical bankruptcy, and Dirty, Dirty Politics. Join if you hold - or are working towards - a black belt in at least two of those three. In all other cases, avoid like the plague.

Cons

It's mere 2-3 years old entity that had to be renamed (to ISYX Solutions India) to try escaping its notoriety as employer: General Culture and setup: - The Pune office (also known as GDC) management is only two senior office-holders (both are cost functions - HR and Finance) - both of whom were made to leave their previous organizations due to unethical behaviour - You can expect a hike may be once in three years, although the company keeps growing - you keep getting notifications to that effect. - The local HR guy is happy to tell you that you can go and they can easily hire a fresher for cheap "in two minutes" and make him work more hours than you. - The functional team heads have no say in firing of resources, because they are too busy covering their own behinds. - You should be able to gauge the quality of this company by the quality of 2 out its 3 recruiters - overbearing, mannerless, shrill and loud, and with pronunciations that shall tempt english language to commit suicide - Most people never receive their Confirmations even after 1+ years, with no mid-probation / end-probation reviews conducted, although official probation is only 6 months. This is simply because the HR is too busy politicizing the workplace to actually do its job, and not because there was any extension of the probation. - The Company leadership, including the CEO sit in Dubai and is completely disjoint from the reality in India and have no real insight into operations, except for cash-flow - The team in Dubai, including the CEO, "manages" based on "information' blindly gathered from rumours and hear-say - mostly received from these two men - both, of questionable morals. Blatant Crime against women, suppression of Victims: - Sexual Harassment of ladies is commonplace - Protection of Harassment offenders by both the local office-bearers is widely known about - in one case, the lady colleague was protected, while in the others, the ladies get harassed for months before being unethically forced to leave - Criminal cases against the both the local office-bearers regarding the same - but they continue to make sweeping generalizations about ensuring a safe workplace - A guy in recruitment keeps making unacceptable (probably illegal) comments at lady colleagues. Once, when a male colleague protested, both the local office-bearers ganged up on him and tried tarnishing the image of the individual by making lame accusations - HR threatens ladies with "Strict decisions", asks them for evidence, and harasses them with endless one-to-one, in-cabin meetings if they complain about harassment in office More harassment and exploitation: - The local HR guy tells north Indians that they're crowding Pune to escape their places (while he himself is not a localite, but considers himself one as he can almost speak the local language) - Any position which requires any effort on part of the HR is a position that the HR will ensure that the employee is fired, if the employee attempts to actually get things done - Any material that goes to the HR for review shall never get approved, till there's an opportunity to steal all credit for the same - often by sitting on it for months and (you guessed it) terminating the employee. - This company has the worst travel and work-life balance policies in the consulting industry - You're expected to be in office the very next day even after international travel, and even after this travel has been 2 months long,, and even if there is zero work to be done. - The local HR guy massages his ego by somehow (unsure why he has this authority) withholding salaries of even those who're not on india payroll for frivolous reasons. - The local HR guy continually attempts to meddle in delivery related matters - will become a roadblock in the grant of leaves or flexible work authorizations, even with ZERO knowledge of current delivery requirements
