Pros

Lunch on Fridays My team Benefits not terrible - Too expensive for family coverage

Cons

How do you treat loyal, hardworking employees? If you're IT Authorities, you work them until there is nothing left and they either quit because they've taken all of the abuse they can stand or you fire them in one of the mass layoffs that were supposedly over months ago! So many hardworking, necessary people have lost their jobs after working for sometimes years while being underpaid and unappreciated. There is no room for growth and even if you're promoted they'll find a reason that you didn't meet expectations, or maybe if you're lucky the CEO will want you out because you "don't fit in". It's sad that I've actually heard that as the reason he wanted someone fired. We were supposed to get raises in December 2017, now that won't be until December 2018. While the hard workers get no raise, the C-Levels keep getting richer. I guess they were right when we were told "we're a big company now", you've sure shown your true colors and there is no integrity left in the company. The owners? They're a joke, they fire people on a whim because they're having a rough day. While we struggle daily because of the company's finances, the owners are enjoying the high life mooching off the money that does come in.

IT Authorities Response

Thank you for taking the time to provide this honest feedback. Our industry and company have faced change and rapid growth as of late, and as a result, we’ve been forced to make tough decisions. We are incredibly grateful for the contributions made by each of the individuals impacted – they will be missed by their colleagues and friends at IT Authorities. Also, we have worked hard to build a company where people are valued and feel empowered to succeed and grow. We subscribe to industry research and tools to ensure that our compensation schedule is in line with current market values based on skillset and experience. We also believe that bonuses and raises, although not a guarantee, are something that should be evaluated by the manager when an employee has gone above and beyond. We encourage you to discuss your comments and concerns with People Operations, our doors are always open.

Pros

Due to the unique dynamics of working within an MSP (Managed Service Provider), individuals aiming to advance their careers in Information Technology will discover that IT Authorities offers an excellent environment for swiftly gaining substantial expertise and exposure across a wide array of technologies and implementations.

Cons

The job entails a fast-paced environment that can occasionally be stressful, but I would argue that this is typical for most IT-related positions.
