Toxic environment with poor management and practices - React Native Developer IT Infonity Employee Review

I'm giving this company only 1 star if there is an option to give 0 or -ve, I would, and the story behind this rating is - I joined this company on 10th May and was assigned a project the very next day. The project was already partially complete, but it had many serious issues, including a buggy UI, improper API integration, static data instead of dynamic implementation, poor code formatting, a non-functional login flow, and overall unstructured development practices. What surprised me most was that there was no proper code review process, and most employees were heavily dependent on AI tools for development. In fact, employees were pressured to rely on AI to complete tasks rather than follow proper engineering practices. During my short time there, I also took the initiative to improve parts of the project on my own, even without being asked. At the time of joining, HR asked me to submit a blank cheque or my higher education certificate as a security deposit. When I requested written proof that my certificate was being held by the company, they kept delaying and said they would provide it later. When I followed up again, instead of providing proof, they told me they had not seen enough progress and asked me to leave within a week. I was terminated on 15th May without proper notice, and I was not paid for my last working day. My experience raises serious concerns about management practices, employee treatment, and transparency. I would advise job seekers to be cautious and clarify all employment terms in writing before joining.
